| Universal's used oil collection service is provided for customers who generate used oil. They typically have regularly scheduled service intervals. The frequency of service intervals is determined by computer software that automatically schedules a service event when the customers’ tank is predicted to have reached 80% capacity. Universal employs a well-maintained fleet of specialized collections trucks to transport the used oil from the customer's tank to one of Universal's four processing facilities. After the used oil is transported to our processing facility, the used oil is analytically tested, according to the facility's waste analysis plan, before processing. The processing technology reduces the water content to a level of 2% or less and removes most particulates. The resultant product is then marketed to industrial burners, as a cost-effective alternative to virgin fuel oil. |
