Used Oil Filter Collection
Universal Environmental Services dispatches a fleet of box trucks for the collection of used oil filters. Specialized trucks are used to collect used oil filters that are either placed in drums or filter bins supplied by Universal. The frequency of collections is determined by computer software that automatically schedules a service event when the customers’ drums or bins are predicted to be 80% full. In states where landfilling used oil filters is permitted by law, there are many used oil filter collection companies that actually landfill 100% of the filters they collect. Below you'll see one of Universal's state-of-the-art filter crushers. After Universal collects used oil filters, they are crushed and marketed as scrap metal to steel mills or foundries.
