Antifreeze, carelessly disposed of, such as poured into a storm drain or ditch, into a river or stream, onto the ground, or into the regular trash, presents a health threat to humans, animals and the environment. The hazardous chemicals may seep into the ground and contaminate the groundwater. Since state and federal regulations prohibit used antifreeze from being discharged in the manners described above, Universal Environmental Services provides a service to collect used antifreeze. The used antifreeze is collected, transported and processed in total compliance with all local, state and federal regulations. The resultant recovered product is then marketed as an industrial grade ethylene glycol or as an antifreeze product.
